Now, this self-proclaimed geek with wild red hair and the greenest eyes he's ever seen has him thinking all kinds of crazy thoughts. Like settling down and being a one-woman man. Maggie Fielding is anything but Jace's type. For starters, her IQ is bigger than her chest size. But Jace is panty melting hot, and she's having a hard time remembering that he’s bad news. If only she could stop telling him her secrets, because her answers to his questions just might have both of them falling in love for the first time.

Excerpt

The cadence of his breathing filled the room and Maggie decided she was glad he was there. “Jace?” “What?” “Why do you do it?” “Do what?” “Go from girl to girl. My mother was promiscuous because she tried to make up for everything wrong in her life—no relationship with her family, a kid she didn’t want. But you have the most wonderful family in the world. And you have friends—and talent. I don’t understand what you’re trying to compensate for.” He didn’t say anything, so she said, “You don’t have to answer. I shouldn’t have asked. I just finished telling you to stay out of my business and now I’m butting into yours.” “It isn’t that I don’t want to answer. It’s—I don’t know the answer. Maybe it’s evolutionary psychology. You know, spill your seeds and all that crap.” “You’re kidding, right? That theory has to do with finding the best candidate for breeding to produce the best offspring. It isn’t an excuse to screw every female in Texas. Unless you’re saying you want to impregnate women to create a bunch of little football All-American’s?” “Hell, no. My policy is no glove, no love. I’m saying, could be, men aren’t supposed to be monogamous.” “You’re speaking for your entire gender?” “Yeah.” “So—your dad could have women on the side and that would be okay.” “No! All right, you’ve made your point. Some men can be happy with one woman.” “But not you.” He rolled up on his elbow and rested his face in his hand. “I don’t know how to say this without sounding like a complete jerk. I guess I do it because I can. From the time I was in junior high, girls have thrown themselves at me and all I’ve done is take advantage of it. I’ve never lied to get a girl to sleep with me. I’ve never told one I loved her or promised forever. I don’t even spend the night. They know what to expect from me.” He flopped back down. “Maybe I’ve slept with more than my share, but I don’t consider myself a bad guy. Do you?” “Does it matter what I think?” “Yeah.” “Well then, I think you’re just as emotionally unavailable as I am. I avoid men because I’m afraid I’ll losemy heart, and you go from girl to girl to keep from giving yours away.”

Synopsis

Accepting that she will never get the chance to put things right isn’t easy, but it’s not until life comes crashing down around her that Livy realizes what she could’ve had. Livy has finally realized that you can’t fight fate… Some things are just meant to be. Is this finally her time to get it right, or has Livy missed her last chance with Ethan?

Excerpt

“Liv, what’s going on? Is she okay? Keefer told me what went down.”
I moved away from the door and met Ethan halfway. “No, she isn’t okay.” It came out bitter.
“Can I do anything? I could come-”
I shook my head. “We’re fine, thanks.” Without realizing I stepped back and Ethan’s face paled.
“And us?”
My eyes dropped to the floor.
“Liv, look at me. What. About. Us?”
I forced myself to look at him. My head and heart were at war. My heart wanted him to wrap me in his arms and tell me everything was going to be okay. That Amber would heal. That Sharn would meet her Prince Charming. That we really did have something. But my head knew better. My head would always know better.
“There is no us. I’m sorry, Ethan. Goodbye.” I turned from him and fled back to the limo.
“You’re running from me, Liv. Don’t use this as an excuse to run,” he called out.
Once in the safety of the limo, I slammed the door behind me, ignoring Sharn’s questioning glare.
“How is she?”
“A mess. This will leave scars.” Sharn answered.
I leaned my head onto the backrest and pressed a finger to my lips, trying to remember what kissing Ethan felt like. Was it even real? It didn’t feel real. Not now. It felt like a dream—the really good kind, until you wake up and realize it was just that.
A dream.
Because in the harsh light of day, life wasn’t like that. It was hard—full of hurt and people who let you down.
No, life wasn't like a dream at all.

Voyeur Extraordinaire by Cora Reilly - Cover Reveal & Giveaway

Cover
Book Title: Voyeur
Author: Extraordinaire
Genre: Romance
Release Date: October 2014

Excerpt

Living in a dank one room apartment and working as a waitress in a shabby bar, Nora didn’t think her life could get any worse. But that’s before sexy-as-hell Adrian Black moves into the apartment across from her bedroom window and she’s caught spying on him having sex. Now he has set his eyes on her. Not falling prey to his panty-dropping smiles proves to be a challenge Nora isn’t sure she’s ready for – especially since the most action she ever had are the butt slaps from leery customers at work. An encounter with Adrian involving a healthy dose of pent-up tension and too much alcohol leads to an awkward night that none of them will likely forget. But it’s only the beginning... “Every night I take out my binoculars, direct them at the window of my neighbor Adrian Black and watch him banging a new girl, and every night I wish the girl was me. Where the hell is a shooting star when you need one?"

Excerpt

After extinguishing the lights, I drew back the curtains and took my usual seat on the windowsill. I peered through my binoculars and found Adrian's window within seconds. It was illuminated, but I hadn't expected anything else. It was ten o'clock after all. Another redhead was pressing her body against Adrian, thrusting her tongue into his mouth. He was already shirtless and a soft sigh left my lips as I gazed at his perfect chest. I didn't approve of his changing sex partners but I tried not to think about it. Not that it was any of my business. The women probably knew what they were getting into. As long as I got to see him naked, I was satisfied. Adrian unzipped the dress of the redhead and it dropped to the ground, leaving her completely naked. She wasn't even wearing underwear! Where did Adrian get his women? I never went anywhere without underwear. That felt wrong. Almost perverted. But who was I to call someone a pervert? I was a waxed peeping Tom with strange looking labia. I certainly didn't have the right to judge anyone. I returned my attention to the scene in Adrian's bedroom. He'd gotten naked during my inner monologue and had the women bent over and bracing herself on the windowsill. Her forehead was leaning against the glass of the window and Adrian was standing behind her. I had to admit I was a bit worried. If Adrian pounded her with his usual vigor, the poor woman would probably end up with a concussion from having her forehead thrust against the glass. The redhead didn’t seem to share my worries, though. She looked as if she couldn't wait for Adrian to push into her. I shifted my binoculars slightly to take a look at Adrian's face. And then I was staring directly into green eyes and he was staring back at me. He. Was. Staring. Back. At. ME. Fuck. Fuck. Fuck. There wasn't a single doubt in my mind that Adrian was currently looking at me while I was watching him like a freaking stalker. Oh shit, shit, shit. I should have been more careful. He had noticed me! I froze and for a seemingly endless amount of time, we were just looking at each other. The woman didn’t seem to notice. She wiggled her ass against him, encouraging him to get started. Suddenly the corner of Adrian’s mouth lifted and he smiled at me smugly. What? My heart skipped a beat. Holy shit! Was he actually flirting with me? My hand that was holding the binoculars shook so much, I was worried I'd drop them any second. Not taking his eyes off me and still smiling this cocky smile, he grabbed the hips of the redhead and pushed into her, never taking his eyes off me. I gasped and my hand covered my mouth in shock. He'd noticed me and yet he didn't stop. He seemed to like it. His green eyes were so intense as his face clouded with ecstasy.
