Then he slowly starts to strip. Just the top part of his suit, but one look at his gorgeous body makes me salivate. He throws down his shirt in a corner and stays put in the middle of the room, almost like a challenge.
I can’t stop staring. Can’t stop myself from touching him. My hand on his chest, sliding down his abs, every inch of rippling skin. I love how his chest rises and falls with each breath, getting a little more erratic as my hand goes lower and lower.
As long as he doesn’t say a word, I continue. I feel like he’s giving me permission while still watching me like a hawk.
I zip him down and lower his pants until his dick bounces up from the elastic band. Its firmness makes me want to lick it.
So I do.
I lower myself to my knees on the floor in front of him and open my mouth.
Taking him into my mouth, I swirl my tongue around his length. It bobs up and down, and a groan escapes his mouth.
Salty pre-cum drips onto my tongue.
Still, the door is not closed.
Anyone could come in at any moment.
Anyone could watch.
The thought alone makes me reach for my panties, and I start rubbing myself.
Judging from how his eyes lower to gaze at what I’m doing, he enjoys it too.
But he’s not pushing me. Not forcing my lips over his shaft. Not holding the back of my head to push me down to his base.
He lets me do what I want. Almost as if he’s curious to see where I’d take it.
I don’t mind showing him how committed I am to pure pleasure.
After all, why else would anyone come to this hotel if to experience just that?
And since he doesn’t want a relationship, I might as well enjoy all the benefits for as long as they last.
As I suck him off, his dick grows harder and harder. Suddenly, the slider is pushed aside, and two eyes are clearly visible. Someone is watching us.
My clit thumps in response.
I don’t stop licking him. His moans put me in a trance.
Until Declan suddenly pulls out.
With two fingers he tips up my chin. “Do you want to know why the door isn’t closed?” he asks.
I nod. “So others can watch?”
A devilish grin spreads on his lips. “So others can join.”

Let me tell you a story ...

With Ruin just being released I wanted to do something special for my fans. Some may have already read the book, some may have not, but know that I am grateful for every one of you.

So today, I want to tell you a little story.

Once upon a time, there was a little girl. Her heart and mind so big, she dreamt of scary monsters and talking crocodiles laughing with elephants. When she awoke, she could barely tell the difference between the real world and the one in her dreams.
When she was six, she picked up a pen and began to write words. She never stopped. She fell in love with the curls, the swishes, the language, the communication. Even though her teachers scolded her for ruining the sheet of paper by writing with her left hand instead of her right. She didn't care.
Her mind told her to write, and so she did.
She wrote stories about crocodiles and elephants laughing and talking. Her mommy even made little booklets of the pink and blue papers she wrote on, slapped together with glue and rope.
Her first little book.
The first of many yet to come.

She grew older, and so did her mind, and the stories mounted up into the sky.
During the day she'd dream of the stories she'd lived through the night before.
Dreams and reality started to mix, to the point where her mind floated off, far away from the people close to her. In the car, she would stare at the clouds, her mind in a world filled with magic and flying monsters. In class, she would dream of ways to escape the world around her and jump into the one she'd created with just her thoughts.
The stories never stopped, and so she began penning them down.
One by one, they poured out of her.
They needed to escape.
Stories about girls discovering their super power and fighting monsters.
Stories about a companionship travelling the world.
Stories about first love and finding a soulmate.
Stories about a distant future.
Stories.
So many, they seemed to never end.
Her teachers used to ask, "What do you want to be when you grow up?"
And she used to tell them, "I want to be a teacher, like you." But she only said that because her daddy was one, and because she didn't know there could be a different answer.
But when she was older ... she changed her mind.
She showed her mom her writings, who was always proud. It gave her the courage to tell more people, and she said to everyone, "I'm going to be a writer."
Most people would commend her and smile, but only the grown-ups. Her classmates laughed, despite her insistance. They even talked about her behind her back, saying how stupid it was for her to believe in silly dreams. She kept writing, despite being told by everyone it couldn't be done.
But she persisted. She would become the next JK Rowling.
You see, this little girl always had a thing for books. No wonder, she loved to write them too, so it was only natural she devoured them too.
But then she also knew JK Rowling was someone who lived in the UK. Someone who spoke English.
She did not.
So she was determined to learn how to write all her stories in English.
It wasn't hard, because when she was younger, she used to have an American nanny who taught her a lot of words. Somehow, the language had been ingrained in her brain, and she never forgot.
However, writing in your native language is always easier than a second one.
She showed her teachers her hard work, and some complimented her for it, and told her to continue. So she did. She wrote and wrote until one day ... one day, she realized, she was sixteen, and she needed to do something after school.
Something. Besides writing.
Because you see ... writing was not a job that could earn you money. And money makes the world go round. You can't live without it.
That's what her mom always told her.
Just like her mom always told her that writing can never really be a job.
Because, let's face it ... who in the Netherlands (a blip of a country on a map so large) ever becomes famous enough to earn a decent living from writing stories?
None.
So the girl gave up on writing and soon enrolled in college, taking up communication & social media classes so her second love (computers) might be her salvation. She forgot about her stories and put them aside, stuffed away in a corner of her computer where she wouldn't look for a long time, because they were burnt up dreams.
Dreams that she never knew she'd revisit one day.
One day.

One day, about three months before she'd graduate, she talked to her boss at her internship, and he told her the most striking thing.
"You love stories a lot, don't you?"
"Yeah."
"Then why don't you write?"
"Because ... I can't make that my job." She laughed.
"Yes, you can."
"No." She frowned.
"Yes." He smiled. "You can. You only gotta believe. Just do it."
"Just do what?"
"Just go for it. If you want to write, just write. If you want to publish it, publish it. Why not? What's stopping you? No one. No one should be able to stop you, not even you."
She opened her mouth, but failed to find an answer.
Nothing.
Nothing was exactly right. Nothing was stopping her.
It was all she ever needed to hear.
So she finished her work with as an intern, went home, and started up her computer. She wrote and wrote until her graduation, until she had so many stories in her mind and on paper she couldn't ignore it any longer.
She was about to publish them under a newly made-up pen name.
Screw the naysayers.
Screw the dreams.
It didn't matter if she wouldn't become the next JK Rowling. If her English was bad. If her stories wouldn't even be read.
Because no matter what ... She would continue.
She would push on and on until death.
Because that is what people do when they have dreams.

They. Never. Give. Up.

When she sold her first book, she was ecstatic. On the moon.
And then another one. And another.
The first month was so awesome.
But the one after that was even better.
And all the months following the first were even more unbelievable.
And then came the moment when she realized people did actually read her stories. That people actually liked them. That they wanted more.
And more ... and more.
And she never, ever stopped writing ... with a smile on her face.

To this day she feels like a fraud in her own skin, selling stories under a pen name in a language that's not her own, but she will push on, never quitting, never giving up, because this is what she loves. This is who she is.
A writer. A lover of stories, no matter the language. No matter the age.
She's now twenty-five and soon to be married, and she couldn't be any happier and more grateful than she is right now.

And for that I know that I am forever indebted to you, my fans.

The end.

Stalker Duology Bonus Scene!

Guess what? I wrote a bonus scene for Stalker! :) So if you want to read more about Phoenix and Vanessa, read on or click the download button below ;)

BONUS SCENE STALKER DUOLOGY

VANESSA

Weeks later

What a beautiful day to wreak havoc.
Marina and the Diamonds is playing on the radio as I drive towards the gas station, dancing to the music like a crazy girl. The little boy on the backseat is making strange eye contact, sending me weird vibes, but I ignore him. I’m singing along to the chorus, twirling my hair, finally happy that I can do whatever the fuck I want, whenever the fuck I want.
“Oh, we’re here!” I say, winking at the boy who then nods at me and continues to stare out the window.
I drive up to one of the gas pumps and get out of the car. Right when I turn around, a man comes running at me with a gun. I scream when I see it’s Phoenix. He has a ski mask on.
“Don’t you fucking move!” he yells.
The gun is pointed at my chest, and I quiver at the sight of it. Immediately, my hands go up, and I say, “Please, don’t hurt me!”
“Move!” he growls.
He jiggles the gun and I step aside. That’s when he enters the car.
“No!” I yell, but Phoenix has already closed the door on me.
“Fuck off! Now!” Phoenix yells, pointing the gun at me through the window. “Or do you want me to shoot you?”
“No, no, please, let him go!” I look at the little boy who seems terrified.
“Him? You mean this little man?” Phoenix grabs the boy by the arms and pushes the gun against his head. “Should I shoot him instead?”
“Please!” I beg.
“Leave us alone or I’ll fucking do it!” he screams at me.
I nod, thoughts running through my head, whispers of imminent death. I have to do something.
“Go!” Phoenix growls.
I do the only thing I can think of. I run.
It’s the coward thing to do, but I know that if I try to save the boy, Phoenix will shoot him … and perhaps me too. I can’t do this alone. I have to call for help.
Tears run down my cheeks as I rush into the store.
“Help!” I yell, looking for the clerk. “Please, someone help me!”
“What’s wrong?” A man walks out of the aisle. “Are you okay?”
“There’s a man in my car! And he’s got my boy!” I scream. I grab his coat. “Please, you have to do something. Help him.”
“What? Oh my god, that’s horrible.” He runs to the window to peer outside. Phoenix is still holding the gun to his head. “Oh Jesus Christ. I have to call 911.”
“No,” I say quickly. “You have to go help him now. He’ll shoot him if I’m here for too long. He’ll be dead before the police arrives.” Tears flow down my cheeks as I beg him. “Please. Help him.”
“All right.” He nods slowly, then takes a deep breath and walks back to his cash register, pulling out a huge shotgun from underneath. My eyes widen as I watch him lock and load. “This’ll do the trick.”
I walk after him, my heart beating in my throat as he rushes toward the car. “Oh God,” I murmur to myself as the man faces off with Phoenix.
“Stay the fuck away!” Phoenix yells at the man.
“Get out of the car,” the man says with a deep voice.
“Didn’t you fucking hear me? Leave or I’ll fucking shoot your brains out and his too,” Phoenix growls, pushing the gun against the boy’s head.
“Stop!” I scream, crying my eyes out.
“That’s it,” the man says, and he jerks the door open. He throws himself inside.
“Fucking hell.” Phoenix slams him on the head, pounding in on him. The man fights him with equal strength, punching him with everything he has. Somehow, the shotgun drops from the man’s hand, and Phoenix whacks him with his gun, knocking him out cold.
We exchange anxious looks.
Then Phoenix shoves the man out of his car, gets out too, and grabs the man’s shotgun. Then he points his gun at me. “Sit down.”
He nods at the seat he was just sitting in a second ago.
I nod and sit down as he pulls the car keys out and locks the door, trapping us inside. “Stay here,” he growls at me.
“What are you doing?” I yell as he walks away.
“Business.” He goes into the shop.
Stealing. That’s what he’s going to do. He’s going to rob the man of his money and make his way out.
When he comes back a few minutes later with another bag filled to the brim with money, he runs back to my car and I frantically search for a way to open the door, but to no avail. He unlocks it using the key and shoves me aside. “Move!”
I do what he says, sliding onto the other seat as he gets in and closes the door. He pulls the ski mask off his head and throws the bag filled with money onto the backseat. “Boy, you’d better not touch that.”
He hits the gas and turns the wheels, creating skid marks on the road as he races off.
Silence rules, calming my heart and mind.
After a few minutes, I glance at Phoenix. I see him glance back. Then a grin appears.
I laugh.
I burst out into full-on, uncontrollable laughter. And so does he.
“Fuck, that was good,” he says with a smirk.
“Holy fucking shit!” I say. “I can’t believe I actually did it. Was I good?” I flutter my eyelids at him, making him laugh.
“The best.”
“Are you sure they’ll believe it?”
“Princess, you know where the cameras were, and I’m pretty sure they all recorded your perfect show.”
His compliment makes me gloat.
He leans in and kisses me on the chick. “But you’re not the only great performer here. You should’ve seen your face.”
“I could swear some of those tears were real. You can really scare me sometimes, you know that?” I point at his gun. “Now get that thing out of my face please.”
“Nah, you’re just an awesome actress.” He winks, tucking the gun in his holster.
The boy in the back clears his throat, drawing our attention. We both look at him and then each other, with me rolling my eyes and Phoenix sighing.
We stop at a parking lot not far up ahead, turning our heads back at the little boy. “You did great too,” Phoenix says.
“That’s what I thought.” The boy crosses his arms.
Phoenix grabs the bag with money and takes out a fifty dollar bill. “Here.”
“Finally.” The boy greedily takes it and tucks it in his pocket, opening the door. “See y’all later.”
The boy closes the door and I turn my head toward Phoenix. “Later?”
Phoenix shrugs. “Maybe he’s under the impression we’ll do this again with him. Guess we’re not the only money-grubbing-whores here.”
“Well …” I mull it over. “It is fun.”
Phoenix picks up a few more bills and brings them to his nose, smelling them and then looking at me. “God, I fucking love you, you know?”
I grin from our evilness … and because I feel exactly the same way about him. “Let’s go.”

PHOENIX

Just because her accounts were frozen after the raid the police did on her house, doesn’t mean Vanessa and I won’t have access to money. It might not be as much as we used to have, but it’s enough. As long as I have my guns, I can steal my way through life. We can do anything we put our minds to, and it feels so fucking good.
No more obligations. No more people to mess with our lives.
Now there is only her and me. And this is the perfect way to celebrate.
She cringes as the needle is pushed into her skin, marking her permanently.
This is what she wanted to do after we robbed our first shop. She promised me she’d do it if we’d make it out alive, and we did, so … here we are. She said it’s her way of saying goodbye to her old life and welcoming the new and improved her.
The wretched, deceitful Vanessa. The violent Vanessa. My Princess.
No more faking that she’s nice. No more smiling without really meaning it. No more lies. Well, except if they lead to more money and fun.
I watch her as the man inks my claim over her into her skin.
I smile when I see the words finally written all around her wrist like a fucking engagement bracelet.

Phoenix’s Princess.

My name is edged into her very skin. Now everyone will know what I mean to her … and what she means to me.
“Perfect,” I say, grinning as the tattoo is completed. I grab her arm and lift it, taking a good look at her wrist. The glimmer in her eyes tells me she’s happy. That she wants to be needed. And I do fucking need her more than life itself. I should hate her for it, if it wasn’t for the fact that I love her so fucking much.
I’d kill for her … as a matter of fact, I already have.
I smirk when I see her smile. “Mine.”

VANESSA

We drive along a lonely road, enjoying the sunset, humming along to the music on the radio. I toy with the collar around my neck that signifies our undying love. Literally, he’d fucking shoot me if I ever tried to leave.
Not that I want to. There is only one man on this earth who can make me feel this special, this wanted, this good, and it’s him. I’d be a fool to let that go.
No, I learned my lesson a long time ago, and now I’m living the life with him. Until death do us part.
We’ll travel the world together. See what’s out there. Live the life we were always meant to live … even if it means going against the law. Lying. Cheating. Stealing. I’ll do it all. It’s what we do best.
“Wait,” I say, when we drive past a significant patch of grass.
“What?” he mumbles.
“Stop the car,” I say, pulling the wheel.
“Hey! Don’t fucking touch the wheel, Princess.” The car steers out of control, and he hits the breaks. We come to a stop right before the fence. “Jesus Christ, you could’ve killed us.”
“Whoops,” I say, not caring a lot, because I know he’ll always save us.
I open the door and take in a breath of fresh air.
“What are you doing?” he asks.
I close my eyes and open my arms, letting the sun hit my skin. “Don’t you remember this place?”
“I guess.”
I nod and sigh, then walk out into the field.
“Where are you going?” he asks, but I don’t answer. He’ll see.
He follows behind me as I walk through the grass, looking for a specific spot. When I find a small patch of grass on a mound, I go to my knees. Then I start to dig.
Phoenix’s shadow hovers over me as I uncover the treasure beneath the sand.
“What’s that?”
“This is where I buried something special to me.” I pull out a tiny, metallic box.
“Why?”
I blow the dust off the little box and open it slowly, pulling out the card lying on the bottom. “Because it’s precious and I wanted to keep it safe. My mother burned everything I tried to keep from my old life, so I hid this last one here.” I brush away a single tear that’s formed under my eye.
I turn my head and smile at him. “It’s a picture of you.”
He sinks to his knees on the ground next to me and touches the photograph as if it’s precious to him too, even though he’s never seen it before. I remember taking it when he was looking for insects and I was pretending to study. But I couldn’t help take a picture of him. Maybe I even knew back then that the moments would never last, and I couldn’t accept it. I had to memorialize it.
He hums. “I look so young here.”
“That’s because you were.” I snort.
“Back then I thought I would never be good enough for you.”
I look up at him. “But you are. You always were.”
He cups my chin and gazes deeply into my eyes. “In the back of my head I always knew I’d come back to claim you once and for all.”
“Promise me you’ll never let me go.”
“Never.” He leans in and presses a kiss onto my lips, sealing the deal. I feel like I’m floating when he kisses me, his ownership of my heart so subtle, and yet so clear.
“Forget about before. Forget about your old life,” he whispers against my lips. “Let’s make new memories together.”
“Yes.” It takes one breath, one simple kiss, for me to let it all go.
And so my fingers release the grip on the photograph, letting it fly away with the wind.
Far and far away until it’s nothing more but a distant memory.
Our life together has only just begun.

Goodreads:

Synopsis:
My boss is an asshole.
I’d take off my heels and throw them at his face if they weren’t so expensive.

Why? Because my boss, the sexy, billionaire bad boy Leo King, wants me to be his wife.

That’s right. His wife. Except, it isn’t real. It’s all pretend so his family believes it, and I’m supposed to go along with it.

Asshole doesn’t even begin to describe him, and it’s only going to get worse. Especially because his cocky attitude and sudden interest in my private life make it difficult to concentrate on something other than his sexual innuendos. Excerpt:
“C’mon in. I want to see what you bought,” he says, winking.

I lick my lips, suddenly very aware of this dress plastered around my curvy body. Gathering some courage, I step further inside. His eyes skim me, starting at the bottom all the way to the top, slowly taking me in. He’s taking his time sucking up this image of me, which makes me wonder what in the hell is going through his head.

“Is it any good?” I ask, focusing on the dress instead of his eyes eye-fucking me.

“Oh …” he grunts. He seriously grunts. “Yes.”

I stare at him with raised eyebrows, not able to utter a single word.

“Close the door behind you,” he says.

I do as he says, but then when I turn my head back to him, he’s right in front of me. Instinctively, I take a step back, but I’m already against the door, and there’s no way out.

“It’s more than just ‘good’ …” he murmurs, licking his lips.

Oh Jesus, why did I look at his lips?

“You look like someone who should have dressed like this way long ago.”

My lips quiver. They never quiver. Goddammit, Sam, get your act together!

“And what’s that supposed to mean?” I say, swallowing away the lump in my throat.

He keeps inching closer. I keep trying to push further back into this door, but unfortunately, it’s not made of rubber.

His voice turns raw, laden with testosterone. “It means I think you look … sexy.”

Oh my god, I think I just died.

“Don’t look so surprised.” A smirk appears on his face. “Just because I’m an asshole, doesn’t mean I’m not a man.”

“I never thought you’d–”

“What? That I could ever think a woman like you is sexy?”

“I didn’t say that …”

“No, just you. I know what you’re thinking.” He takes a pluck of my hair and tucks it behind my ear. It feels like I’m dreaming, and I’m almost tempted to pinch my arm just to prove to myself that I am.

“Contrary to what you may think of me, you know nothing about my tastes,” he muses. “And my taste right now is you.”

My lips part. “W-What?”

“Oh, it’s purely for professional reasons, Miss Webber. If we’re to make a convincing couple, we’d have to kiss some time.”

Autumn finds it hard not to give into Hunter’s advances, even though it all seems like a game to him. Trying to understand him is impossible, because he shrouds himself in mystery.
What she doesn't know is that Hunter has more baggage than anyone should have to carry. When she discovers he's in an illegal frat club to save the one person that matters to him, Autumn realizes this could mean the end of her undeniable connection to him. Even their lives are at risk.
But it's too late to turn back now ...

When he comes up the steps, his gaze is already set on that one empty spot beside me. I’m squeezing my legs together, as he sits next to me. My instinct is to scoot far away, but I can’t; there’s nowhere to go.
I feel watched, which isn’t strange, considering his gray eyes are practically trying to penetrate my skin.
Anger is seething inside him, I don’t have to look at him to know; I can feel it flow out of him like a radiator that’s burning up.
God, I want to die.
He keeps staring at me, as if he has nothing better to do. My heartbeat is rising, and I’m starting to feel really sweaty. I don’t know why he’s doing this, but it’s freaking me out, and I don’t like it one bit.
“Don’t you have to pay attention?” I say, avoiding his eyes.
“To You? Yes.”
His words make my insides broil.
“The teacher has already started talking.” I point to the front, but Hunter doesn’t even flinch. His eyes are still on me like a hawk zooming in on his prey.
“I don’t care.”
I swallow, gathering the courage to turn my head and look at him. The moment my eyes make contact with his I’m drowning. Drowning in amazement. Drowning in fear.
Fear of the unknown.
“But your grades …” I stammer.
He snorts, and a smile curls the corners of his mouth while he shakes his head. “Yeah, right.”
And all I can do is stare.
If looks could kill, I would be dead.
He looks so damn handsome when he smiles. It’s like everything around us fades and all I ever want to see is that smile. It just makes me feel good.
But when the smile disappears, so does my mood.
The darkness falling over his face unsettles me.
In his eyes I see the hurt, the worries, the insomnia. Sleepless nights have worn down his face, making him look saggy and dull. But I know there’s so much more inside there.
Endless stories and an undiscovered world I’m intrigued by.
I want to know what’s in there. Inside him. Why he’s so angry and sad at the same time.
A sudden overwhelming feeling to grab him and hold him tight takes me aback.
He’s having so much trouble in his life right now, even though I have no idea what’s going on. I can see it in his eyes that something is so wrong. And I want to help him get through it.
But I don’t come any close. I don’t move one muscle.
I’m scared. Scared of what he can do. Scared of his power, and his temper.
In my mind I can still see his bloodshot eyes and the hateful look on his face. He was in that fight yesterday, I’m sure of it. The only question is who was the one instigating it.
I open my mouth, but nothing comes out.
I can’t ask him. I just can’t get the words to come out. I’m really chicken shit.
“Something wrong?” he says.
I shake my head.
“Then why are you looking at me like that?”
Hunter inches closer. I instinctively draw back, but he scoots even farther to my side. I’m scared to death he wants to do something to me, and I have no idea what, which makes it even scarier.
A devious smile appears on his face, and it’s almost as if he’s enjoying this. Taunting me seems like his way to pass time in class. I don’t like it one bit, but on the other hand I’m excited as hell.
He raises his head, and his nostrils flare. I turn my head, my breath hitching in my throat. I can’t look when he’s doing this, entering my private space uninvited.
It feels as though his nose is close to my hair, because there’s hot air flowing close to my ear. And then he inhales.
Holy shit.
Is he smelling me?
I’m frozen in place from sheer panic, my heart beating like crazy.
No guy has ever come this close to me.
He lets out a huge breath afterward and chuckles softly. His breath lingers on my ear, and a shudder runs through me.
“I like it,” he whispers.
Oh. My. Fucking. God.
My skin tingles where his hot breath brushed over me. My groin clenches, and my clit thumps.
Why?
His whisper does this to me. Just a whisper.
I never felt like this before. I think just died inside.
Hunter muffles a laugh. It’s like he can smell my fear.
He takes in a sharp breath and moves back to his usual spot. As if what he did just now was the most normal thing in the world.
I’m still shaken, my body stiff from the encounter. I feel completely naked, and I know he’s watching me.
The look in his eyes is like that of a boy who just did something totally against the rules. And it’s so fucking sexy I can’t stand it.

Jack's heart has been lost ever since that terrible night. Now that I know what happened to him, I feel like I need to help him. I want to be there for him, but I know he'll never forget. Is love really going to be enough?
I miss my old life. I want to sing, I want to be somebody, and now that I'm with Jack everything has been put on hold. A curvy girl like me has no chance in the music business anyway, but when an opportunity presents itself to me, it feels like a dream.
Can I take this chance and risk losing him?

I think I love her, but it's terrifying, too. I know she'll want to pursue her career again soon. It's only a matter of time before I lose her again. I want her to be happy, but I think it'll kill me as well. I don't want her to leave.
Can I save our relationship before it's too late?

Check out this steamy and sexy excerpt from volume 3 below:

Kissing him has been on my mind since we came home today. Even after all that shit that happened between us, I still want to be with him. I just can’t stay away. No matter how many times I tell myself this isn’t good, I can’t stop wanting him.
Just looking at him makes me ooze with pure want.
He’s just so damn sweet and sexy. A caring man, who had to stumble his way through a rough life. A proud man, who’s afraid to admit he can’t handle his problems alone. A kind and gentle man, who stole my heart. His flaws make him perfect.
But his lips are cold, so cold they create goose bumps on my skin.
I take my mouth off his. “You’re as cold as ice.”
He bites his lip to hide a sneaky smile. “Warm me up then.”
He wraps his arms around me and pulls me closer to him, but I push away again. “You’re really cold, Jack. Jesus, this isn’t good.”
He sighs. “I don’t feel it.”
“I do. C’mon,” I say, and I pull him out of the bed. “We need to get you under the shower. Some hot water will get you up to temperature again. And why were you sleeping without a blanket anyway?”
He chuckles from my jabbering, but lets me drag him along anyway. I open the door and get him inside before closing it behind me.
“You gonna wait here ‘till I get naked or something?” he says.
“What?” I stammer.
I hadn’t really thought about it before, but now that I’m looking at him I realize he’s still dressed. Of course. To get under the water, one must get naked. Sometimes I feel like a drooling little girl. He has to take off his clothes, and I’m still here. What am I doing here?
He turns around with a smirk on his face and stays put in the middle of the bathroom, arms folded. “So, you want a peepshow or something?”
Heat rises to my head, and I know my cheeks are glowing red. “No, of course not.”
I quickly turn around and put my hand on the door handle, but then his hand suddenly presses firmly against the door. His arm is beside me and I’m staring at a bulk of muscles, so firm, I want to touch it.
I swallow.
Shit, these hormones are driving me crazy with lust.
Jack’s chest presses against my back and I can hear him inhale. He smells me, his nose close to my hair. When he exhales it sounds as though he’s relaxing, but his hand is still jammed against the door, pinning me between both.
I gasp when his finger grazes my neck and brushes aside my hair. His finger is cold and yet it heats me up to my core. When his lips make contact with my skin I gasp.
He’s so smooth and his kisses are to die for. The way he presses them softly onto my shoulder and neck makes me feel like a precious prize. As if I’m all he wants.
As much as I want him.
I let go of the door handle. His hand slips off the door and drifts to my waist. He’s taking a hold of me, and I can’t resist. I don’t even try anymore.
“Stay with me,” Jack whispers into my ear. It sends electric shocks through my spine. “I want to be close to you.”
My heartbeat rises as he works his way up my neck and nibbles my earlobe. He pushes himself against me, and his growing pants are unmistakable. Oh, yes, I can definitely feel him and his desire.
He tugs my body, and my feet move without me having any control over them. It’s as if my mind is blank and my body is running on pure lust. I’m not sure whether it’s right or wrong, especially not because of his past, but I can’t stop wanting him and more of this. His love is so affectionate, it’s unlike anything I’ve ever felt before. Tender and passionate. He provides what I’ve been missing for so long. I need him like a drug.
Hooking his fingers underneath my shirt, he pulls it over my head, and it drops to the floor. His rough fingers linger on my arms and smooth down toward my armpits. He holds me close, lets me feel his body against mine, as if he wants me to feel the closeness between us. As if he’s ready to give me more.
